On the 7 th of October, during the 9th European Youth Parliament for Water, around 100 photos coming from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria were observed by the Jury. The legends of the pictures were made by the youth as a part of the competition.
The results of its selection are as follows :
- 1st prize : Russia for a treasure of boat making links between river and people
(Pavel and Andrey Shamini, Nizhny Novgorod, school № 91)
- 2nd prize : Russia
(Ivan Parahylev, Arzamas, school № 12)
- 3rd prize : Moldova for the astonishing eyes of an horse worrying about its river.

The horse: "For many years the river Nîrnova had very clean water with living creatures in it ... Today, things have changed ... Water has become more and more polluted ... And this can be read even in the eyes of the animals who drink this water : “This may be the last drop I’m drinking ... if I don’t die after drinking this dirty water, I wonder if I will see this river clean and full of life again as in the times when my grandmother was my age ?" and two special prizes for Bulgaria (topic : artistical picture) and Ukraine (topic : natural event)
